Able to record force readings at 20 KHz (20,000 samples / second), this system can capture details and characteristics that simpler mechanical systems won’t register.
The graph above shows the difference between two different bolt systems for an AR pistol application and how the recoil impulse is different between the two. The shooter can feel the difference, but the graph shows exactly how force distribution varies over time between the two systems.
